Kananaskis Field Trip -  Sunday July 10th

The Kananaskis trip was a huge success! Although we started off at Canoe Meadows with a heavy mosquito invasion in the early morning, the weather proved to be warm and dry for the rest of the day and the photographic opportunities were many and varied.

Please look at our member photographs from this trip below, and if you are interested in the locations we visited, see the links at the bottom of the page.

Warning! Photo-troll spotted in Kananaskis!

The irksome creature (Photographica canadensis, var Kananasis) is most often encountered under bridges and rocks (see circled area below), wating for unsuspecting people and animals. It jumps out of its hiding spot and takes photos without regard for the subject's comfort. According to all reports, the troll is harmless, and neeed not be feared.
