Another season of our monthly meetings has passed by and our next meeting will be in September. Until then there are occasional field trips which are listed below. Many thanks to those who participated in the artLens photo contest, we are likely to organize the contest for artsPeak of June 2009.

Field trips: We will meet in the car park behind the Canmore Library and carpool to each site. Please contribute to the driver for the cost of gas.
Saturday, June 28 - Bankhead – meet at 9:00 a.m. - Long abandoned coal town – could go on to Johnson Lake etc.
Thursday, July 17 - Trip to the Calgary Zoo – meet at 7:30 – Zoo opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. (although I don’t imagine that we will be there for the entire day). Entry fee: adult $18; seniors $16. For food, there are cafes and kiosks throughout the Zoo or bring your own lunch.
Thursday, July 31 - Vermilion Lakes – meet at 6:30 p.m. – there is an eagle that flies most evenings – could stay for sunset on Mount Rundle.
Thursday, August 7 - Engadine Lodge – meet at 5:30 – moose viewing
Thursday, August 21 - Cascade Gardens, Banff – meet at 5:00 p.m. – flowers
