Silent Show
The Silent Show is a digital presentation of images submitted by anyone attending the next meeting; you do not have to be a current member of the camera club to submit your photos. We welcome and encourage everyone to share up to 5 photos featuring the current theme selected for each month. The slide show will run automatically through all the images as received by email. If you have photos that fit this theme we would love to see them! There are a few simple but important rules to follow, if the guidelines are not followed you may be asked to resubmit your image(s). Images must be sized Properly: The width of each image is not to exceed 1024 pixels or 768 pixels in height. When images are displayed using the laptop and digital projector there is no need for images larger than this given file size. All images received are to be saved as a .jpg file type and not to exceed 1 megabyte (Mb). About the Theme: Every month will feature a new theme for the Silent Show. The interpretation of the theme is open to each individual. It is possible an image may be deemed not appropriate for the theme, in which case the photographer will be notified. How many images can be submitted? Each person can submit up to five images. Is digital editing allowed? Absolutely! Use as many digital techniques as you wish on your images. When is the deadline? The deadline for submission is one week before the meeting. For normally scheduled meetings (the third Thursday of the month) this puts the deadline at the 15th of the month. What is the theme for this month? The theme will always be indicated on the web page showing the next meeting. How do I submit my images?
