Club Activities

Activities of the Canmore Camera club are varied, and have recently been changed to better reflect members interests. Descriptions of the activities can be found by clicking on the links below, or by going to the menu at the top of the page and selecting Club Activities, and then one of the options found in that group of pages. 

Community Outreach:

The club is always interested in interaction with the community to generate interest in photography, particularly with young people. We have presented several learning experiences in the Canmore public schools, and have given several public photography workshops at the June artLens activities. Field Trips:

Field trips are organized each year by consensus among members of the club and eqeusts from the public. Trips are normally scheduled during the summer and fall months, dependign on the nature of the trip. Field trips for the summer and fall of 2010 are described here.


Club Meetings:

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from September through May at the Ha Ling Conference Room at the Canmroe Recreations Centre from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A general description of meetings is shown here.  A description of the next meeting is shown here.
