Planned field trips:

All field trips are unguided trips with individuals associated with the Canmore Camera Club. You are responsible for your own self and should expect to bring appropriate food, water, clothing, and any other items you deem necessary. The meeting place for all field trips will be at the parking lot behind the Canmore Public Library, look for us at the back wall of the building. Carpooling may be arranged, this blog has been setup to facilitate communication for the purpose of organizing field trips and other club activities

July 2 - 3 to 6 p.m.

Bankhead (old buildings, old railway cars, wildflowers, wildlife etc) – meet at 2:30.

July 16 - 3 to 6 p.m.

Powerline by off-leash dog run (wildflowers) - meet at 2:30.

July 30 at 9 a.m. till about noon

Calgary Zoo - exact time to be confirmed.

August 13 -  5 p.m. to dusk

Engadine Lodge to look for moose - meet at 4:30 p.m.

August 27 - 9 a.m to 2 or 3 p.m

Karst Springs (waterfalls and moss) -  bring lunch and be prepared for a hike (biking is allowed on the trail)
